IFAS STRUCTURE

The President of IFAS elects the Heads of the Central Asian states in turn for
the period they set.

The IFAS Board consists of five people - Deputies
Prime Minister of the founding countries.

Audit Commission - one representative per level
deputy head of the financial body of the founding countries.

EC IFAS - The Chairman of the EC IFAS is appointed
President of IFAS in agreement with other Heads of State,
2 members of the Executive Committee of IFAS, (authorized representatives from
founding countries).

Interstate Commission for Sustainable Development (ICSD),
ICSD Secretariat, Scientific Information Center of the Desert Institute
Turkmenistan (SIC ICSD).
Territorial bodies of the IFAS Executive Committee are on a permanent basis
in founding countries:
• Executive Directorate of IFAS in the Republic of Kazakhstan (Almaty);
• Kyzylorda branch (Kyzylorda);
• Executive Directorate of IFAS in the Kyrgyz Republic (Bishkek);
• Tajik branch (Dushanbe);
• Dashoguz branch (Dashoguz);
• Agency for the implementation of the ASBP in the Republic of Uzbekistan (Tashkent);
• Nukus branch (Nukus);
• Regional Center of Hydrology (Almaty).
